It reads and writes one SD card and one microSD/TF card. Supported SD families include SD, SDHC and SDXC, with UHS-I and UHS-II support. The microSD slot supports microSD, microSDHC and microSDXC media.
Yes. An inserted SD card and microSD card can appear as separate drives and operate simultaneously, subject to the host device, available power and total bandwidth.
The reader uses a USB 3.2 Gen 1 host interface rated up to 5Gbps. Actual transfer speed depends on the memory card, data cable, connected port, host device and whether both cards are transferring at once.
Yes. The SD 4.0 reader slot supports UHS-II and is backward compatible with UHS-I SD, SDHC and SDXC cards.
No. The Duo Reader reads SD and microSD only. Its CFexpress Type A and Type B positions are protective storage slots. Choose the Freewell Pro Reader if you need to read CFexpress cards.
It stores one CFexpress Type A card, one CFexpress Type B card, three SD cards, six microSD cards, two Nano SIM cards and the included eject pin. The CFexpress and Nano SIM positions are storage only.
It is plug-and-play with compatible Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iPadOS devices. Phones and tablets need supported external-drive access, a compatible USB connection and enough power for the cards in use.
No dedicated driver or app is required on supported operating systems. Insert the card, connect the reader and open the files through the device's normal file manager.
The package includes the Duo Reader, a carabiner, a Type-C-female to USB-A adapter and an eject pin. Use a suitable data cable for the USB-C host connection.
