Before you buy
Match the system. Then the lens.
Look for the Ø number on your lens. This is the filter thread size, not the focal length. A lens labeled 24–70mm may use an 82mm filter thread.
Choose rings and add-on filters specifically listed for your system. The same thread-size number does not establish compatibility between different Freewell systems.

A few useful answers.
Fixed ND or variable ND?
Fixed ND filters each provide a specific amount of light reduction. Swap filters to change strength. A variable ND changes strength within its stated range when you rotate the control, which is useful when light changes during a shoot.
Are Brandon Li Standard and Cine parts interchangeable?
Choose Standard rings for Basic/Pro kits and Cine rings for Cine/Cine Pro kits. Both families have an 82mm ring option, but those rings fit different systems. Match the family as well as the thread size.
Can I use one system on several lenses?
Yes, when the system supports the required lens sizes and you use its matching base or adaptor rings. Dunna, Brandon Li, Real Locking, V2 and K2 offer system-specific rings. For M2, also match the magnetic filter diameter or select the appropriate M2 step-up ring.
