Rotate the red ring until reflections and glare look right for the scene.
Rotate the front ring to select the required reduction from 3 to 7 stops.

A variable neutral density filter reduces the amount of light entering the lens. Instead of changing filters as the light changes, you rotate the filter to fine-tune exposure. This helps filmmakers maintain their preferred shutter speed and aperture in bright conditions.
The circular polarizer helps reduce unwanted reflections and glare from water, glass, and other reflective surfaces. It can also improve visible contrast and color saturation when positioned correctly.
The filter adjusts from ND8 to ND128, reducing incoming light by 3 to 7 stops. This range is designed for moderately bright through very bright outdoor conditions.
The Freewell Ultra-thin Threaded Hybrid VND/CPL is available in 67 mm, 77 mm, and 82 mm sizes. Select the size that matches the filter-thread diameter printed on your camera lens.
Thread the filter securely onto the lens. Rotate the red ring to set polarization, then rotate the front ring to choose the desired light reduction between 3 and 7 stops.
The package includes the Threaded VND/CPL 3–7 Stop filter, a lens cap, a protective filter case, and a cleaning cloth.
