WHY HYBRID MATTERS
A standard VND controls brightness. A CPL manages polarized light. V2 combines both, so you can protect your shutter speed and aperture while also reducing glare from water, glass, foliage and other reflective surfaces.
Dial from 3 to 7 stops to keep motion blur, depth of field and exposure where you want them.
Rotate polarization while watching the scene. Stop where reflections, sky and color look right for that angle.
The magnetic V2 system keeps the workflow compact, so you can settle on a look and keep shooting.

V2 kits include an 82mm base ring. For another lens thread, choose the matching V2 base ring, mount it once and move the same filter system between your lenses.

WHEN 7 STOPS ARE NOT ENOUGH
The optional V2 ND32 adds 5 stops of light reduction. Stack it with the Hybrid VND/CPL when harsh sun or a long exposure demands more than the standard 3–7 stop range.

V2 QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
It combines two controls in one system. The variable neutral-density section reduces incoming light from 3 to 7 stops, while the circular polarizer helps manage glare and reflections and can improve color separation in suitable scenes.
Every V2 kit includes an 82mm base ring. If your lens uses a different thread, choose the matching V2 base ring for that lens.
The current V2 base-ring options are 55mm, 58mm, 62mm, 67mm, 72mm, 77mm and 82mm. Availability can change, so use the linked base-ring page to confirm the current options before ordering.
Add the V2 ND32 filter. It provides 5 stops of light reduction and can stack with the V2 Hybrid VND/CPL to extend the system up to 10 stops.
Yes. V2-specific Glow Mist and Snow Mist filters are available for diffusion effects. Snow Mist comes in 1/4 and 1/8 strengths; Glow Mist is available in 1/4 strength.
V2 add-on filters and base rings are made for the Freewell V2 system. Do not purchase them as accessories for unrelated filter systems.
