01Which Fujifilm cameras are compatible with the Real Lens Hood?
It is designed for the Fujifilm X100VI, X100V, X100, X100S, X100F and X100T.
02Can I change the filter without removing the lens hood?
Yes. Flip the hood open to reach the filter, change it, then close the hood again. The hood remains attached throughout the process.
03Can I rotate the CPL without touching the filter glass?
Yes. The hood has external control tabs that let you rotate the CPL from outside the hood, helping keep fingerprints off the glass.
04Which filter is included?
The kit includes a 49mm hybrid CPL / Glow Mist 1/4 filter. It reduces glare and reflections while adding a gentle cinematic bloom to highlights.
05What other 49mm filter choices can I use?
Freewell offers dedicated 49mm VND 1–5 Stop, CPL, Gold Mist 1/4 and Glow Mist 1/8 filters for the Real Lens Hood. You can also use another 49mm filter, but its outer diameter must be no more than 51mm.
06Does it include a lens cap?
Yes. An NFC-enabled lens cap is included. Tap it with a compatible phone for quick access to Freewell support resources.
07How do I make sure the hood is perfectly straight?
Rotate the hood until it is perfectly straight, then lock it securely in position using the included hex key.
