The lens uses a standard 17mm threaded mount. It works with compatible Freewell phone cases or cages for supported iPhone and Samsung models, as well as other correctly aligned 17mm mounting systems.
No. A compatible 17mm threaded phone case or cage is required and is sold separately. The mount keeps the lens securely aligned over the camera.
Use the phone's main 1x rear camera. Correct alignment over the main camera gives the intended 220° fisheye look and the best image coverage.
No. A normal ultra-wide aims to keep lines relatively straight. This 8mm lens intentionally creates the signature curved, immersive fisheye perspective.
The minimum focus distance is approximately 0.5 meters. Move close to your foreground subject to exaggerate depth while keeping the wider environment in the story.
The 8mm Fisheye Lens, front lens cap, rear lens cap, protective lens pouch, and cleaning cloth are included. A phone case or cage is not included.
