Bright light can force a very fast shutter and make movement look crisp or staccato. An ND filter reduces incoming light so you can choose a more deliberate shutter and preserve smoother motion—especially when a 360 scene includes bright sky, road, water or snow.

Should I use an ND filter at night?
Usually not. ND removes light and can force higher ISO or slower shutter speeds. Remove it unless you are deliberately creating a long-exposure effect.
