Use the two red tabs to adjust the CPL smoothly while your fingers stay away from the optical glass.

Yes. The lens hood includes a replaceable 49mm hybrid CPL and Black Mist 1/4 filter. It reduces reflections, improves contrast, and adds a softer highlight character.
Yes, but the filter must have a 49mm thread and an outer diameter no larger than 51mm. Anything wider than 51mm will not fit inside the Real Lens Hood. Freewell VND 1–5 stop, CPL, Gold Mist 1/4, and Glow Mist 1/8 filters meet this requirement and are available separately.
No. The quick-flip design opens the hood for direct filter access, so you can change a threaded filter without removing the complete hood.
